The CAVM email discussion list is an electronic forum for DVMs, VMDs, MDs, and PhDs in the health sciences to discuss the science and practice of unconventional, unproven, complementary and integrative medical therapies. These might include, but are not limited to, homeopathy, botanical medicine, therapeutic nutrition and nutraceuticals, acupuncture, and manual therapies. Discussions of clinical experience and supporting science will be geared towards helping doctors incorporate these therapies into practice according to the principles of evidence based medicine. The CAVM list is a community of over 500 holistic doctors, and is a great resource for learning more about CAVM.
