South Wales rare breed and primate sanctuary specializing in chimpanzees. Species facts, rescue details, visitation and adoption details. We still need help and support to build permanent enclosures for these animals and support them during their quarantine, where regular veterinary attention is needed. The situation in Beirut became so desperate that we just had to stage the rescue of two baboons and a mona monkey before we had all the resources to hand. Middle East Airlines stepped forward and flew the unfortunate animals to London where we urgently arranged all the paperwork, veterinary checks, importation documents and transportation to Wales.
